Heavenly Wedding Banquet: Unveiling the Bride
In the previous two posts on “the Heavenly Wedding Banquet,” we searched the true meaning of the bride in the Book of Revelation. Jesus taught us about the kingdom of heaven through many parables. One of the parable was the heavenly wedding banquet. In this parable the bride of Christ who would appear in the last day was the key or secret of the parable. And knowing the bride is essential for our salvation.
Through the prophecies of the bible we come to know that the bride of Christ is God the Mother, the heavenly Jerusalem coming from heaven in the last days. The parable was about God the Mother who would appear as woman in the flesh to give us salvation of the water of life.
The Difficulty of Recognizing the Bride
How Difficult It Was To Recognize God
Heavenly Wedding Banquet: Unveiling the Bride–Now the final question we have to ask is how to recognize God the Mother who would appear as woman in the flesh. 2000 years ago when God appeared as man in the name of Jesus, it was not easy for the people of the time to know him and accept him as Savior. They mocked and ridiculed him. In the end, they rejected him and crucified him. It was because he looked just like one of us. He did not look like God. Just as Isaiah prophesied long time ago, people could not recognize the identity of Jesus, who appeared as man in the flesh.
Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? 2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. 3 He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
In the eyes of Jews, Jesus was “a mere man claiming to be God”. They could not see the divinity of Jesus hidden behind the curtain of his flesh. With the eyes for the prophecies, they could have realized that Jesus was the Messiah they had been waiting for. However, they did not have that kind of spiritual eyes. They judged Jesus with only his physical appearances.
God’s Appearance As Man To Test People
Heavenly Wedding Banquet: Unveiling the Bride–The bible prophesies the appearance of God to test people of their faith in the words of God.
1 Peter 2:6 For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” 7 Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” 8 and, “A stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.
Jesus came as a stone to test people to find out what is in the mind of people. Those who passed the test could accept him and receive salvation. But those who did not pass the test rejected their Savior and fell into destruction. Jesus’ appearing as man in the flesh is prophesied as his coming as stone in Zion. Just like a stone with no special value or beauty in the outward appearance was God when he appeared as man in the flesh.
Instead of obeying the message or the prophecies of the bible, they judged Jesus Christ with his physical appearance and concluded that he was a mere man. Then how about God the Mother who would come as woman in the flesh in the last day to complete the heavenly wedding banquet? Would it be easy for us to know her? As the bible says, the history repeats itself.
People’s Rejection Of God The Mother
John 1:9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.
Heavenly Wedding Banquet: Unveiling the Bride–This history that happened 2000 years ago would repeat again in the last day when God again appears as woman in the flesh. People would judge God with the outward appearance and reject her even though she is the Savior testified in the bible. Just as Peter said, they would not listen to the message of God in the bible. But what about God’s people? In one way or another, they must know her and receive her to drink the water of life coming from her. This is the final question we have to ask in this parable of the heavenly wedding banquet.
Recognizing God the Mother
2000 years ago even though many people rejected Jesus, his disciples had firm faith in him that He is the Savior. Then how could they recognize him? How could they see beyond the skin and bones of Jesus and figure out the divinity in him? The answer could be found in the words of Peter. Even when all other people who followed Jesus deserted Jesus, the twelve disciples remained with him. And Jesus asked the disciples if they would leave too. At that moment, Peter replied, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” (John 6:68)
It is the same with God the Mother who would appear as woman in the flesh in the end time. The only way for us to recognize her is through the words of God given to us for our salvation. Therefore, to know the true bride of Christ, we have to know the prophecies of the bible. Then what does the bible say about the appearance of God the Mother?
God Would Establish Jersualem
Heavenly Wedding Banquet: Unveiling the Bride–Commonsensically, who is it in a wedding banquet who reveals the bride by lifting up the veil? Isn’t it the bridegroom? This earthly system is a copy and shadow God gave us to teach us the heavenly system. In the heavenly wedding banquet, it is also the bridegroom that is Jesus himself who would unveil the bride setting her up and revealing her to God’s people so that they would know who is the one that gives the water of life to them.
This can be confirmed through some of the prophecies of the bible too. Let us take a look at one prophecy from the Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 62:6 I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, 7 and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.
According to this prophecy, the one who set up Jerusalem by establishing it is the Lord or God himself. But then what is Jerusalem he is talking about? Is it the physical Jerusalem city or temple? Physically, Jerusalem city was established by King David in BC 1000 and the Jerusalem Temple by King Solomon in BC 900. It means physically Jerusalem was already established at least 200 years prior to this prophecy.
Therefore, the Jerusalem in this prophecy is not physical, but spiritual or heavenly Jerusalem. This is a prophecy of the establishment of the heavenly Jerusalem God the Mother. Then who would establish the heavenly Jerusalem? It is God himself or in other words the second coming Christ who is the bridegroom of the heavenly wedding banquet who would reveal God the Mother his bride.
Adam’s Naming Eve
There is another prophecy in the bible concerned about the revelation of the bride of Christ. According to the bible, Adam signifies the Christ. (Rom 5:14) Since Adam represents Christ, whom does Eve the bride and wife of Adam represent? Eve represents the bride and wife of Christ. Therefore, by looking at the story of Adam and Eve as copy and shadow, we can also come to know the appearance of Christ and his Bride.
Then let us first look at the story of Adam and Eve to find out the meaning behind it. Who revealed Eve?
Genesis 2:22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. 23 The man (Adam) said, “This (Eve) is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.”
Who defines and establishes Eve as his own flesh and blood (or bones)? It is Adam himself. Let us see another prophecy in Genesis.
Genesis 3:20 Adam named his wife Eve (meaning ‘life’), because she would become the mother of all the living.
In this prophecy, who is it that gives name to Eve and set Eve up as “the mother of all the living”? It is also Adam. These stories in Genesis are not just stories of the past. God gave all these things as prophecies to teach us about Christ and his Bride. Just as Adam established Eve, Christ, who is prophetical Adam would establish his Bride the Heavenly Jerusalem, who is the prophetical Eve.
The Completion of the Heavenly Wedding Banquet and Establishment of the Bride
Heavenly Wedding Banquet: Unveiling the Bride–Then how did all these prophecies get fulfilled in reality? In 1984, Christ Ahnsahnghong completed the heavenly wedding banquet by revealing his Bride. In that year, unusually Christ Ahnsahnghong directed his disciples to prepared the Passover in a wedding hall. And they reserved Gangdong Wedding Hall in Seoul.
The Passover is the ceremony in which we can participate in the flesh and blood of Christ. However, by holding this ceremony in a wedding hall, Christ Ahnsahnghong, who was the spiritual Adam eagerly wanted to reveal the true flesh and blood of Adam, that is, Eve. Jesus gave the bread and wine of the Passover temporarily for us to have eternal life until the revelation of the reality of life, that is, Eve, who is life giving life as the mother of all the living.
Through the heavenly wedding banquet in 1984, Christ Ahnsahnghong revealed the last secret of the bible, God the Mother who comes as the last Eve (or Life) to give us life. Christ Ahnsahnghong left us many evidences about the true God the Mother. He took the wedding pictures with Heavenly Mother to teach us that this is my flesh and blood, the reality of Life. Also, he left a hand-written note along with the picture.
Elisha followed Elijah
Joshua followed Moses
Peter followed Jesus
And I follow Mother.
Whoever loves me obey my command. (From a note of Christ Ahnsahnghong)
Heavenly Wedding Banquet: Unveiling the Bride–Now we are going to finish the parable of the heavenly wedding banquet. Before finishing this topic, I would like to remind just one thing we have to remember through this and all other prophecies of the bible: We have to realize how much God loves us and how much God cares about us. God made all these plans before the creation of the world and recorded them in the bible as prophecies. And he fulfilled all the prophecies without missing anything—even by coming as man in the flesh among his people.
Now we should repay the love of God by completing the work of establishing 70,000 gospel cities and finding all the lost children of God. In that way, we can finish the suffering of Heavenly Mother and give comfort to her distressed soul. Let us work for the gospel for the glory of Heavenly Mother to make her the praise of the earth.
