Christ Ahnsahnghong Coming As the Prophet Elijah–As we have seen in the story of Moses in the previous post, the Bible prophesies that Christ would appear as a prophet. 2000 years ago, Jesus came as a prophet like Moses to fulfill the prophecies. And another prophecy reveals that the Christ would come as the prophet Elijah in the last days. Today, let us find out about the Christ coming as Elijah in the last days. And let us find out Christ Ahnsahnghong is coming as a Prophet Elijah by fulfilling the prophecies.
Prophecy of Prophet Elijah
Malachi 4:4 “Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel. 5 “See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. 6 He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.”
Christ Ahnsahnghong Coming As the Prophet Elijah–God said that He would send the prophet Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. The purpose of his coming is to bring the reconciliation between God and God’s people. Thus, without his coming, there would be no reconciliation and no salvation. That is why the coming of Elijah is essential to the salvation of God’s people.
Then, who is the prophet, Elijah? In the history of Israel, Elijah worked as a prophet of God in the time of King Ahab around 8th Century BC. And Prophet Malachi wrote this book around 430 BC. It means that the prophet Elijah lived about 300 years before Malachi wrote the Bible. Then, who is the Elijah who would come before the day of the Lord? He must be spiritual Elijah. Then, who would come as spiritual Elijah to fulfill the prophecy?
The Time Frame of the Appearance of Elijah
Christ Ahnsahnghong Coming As the Prophet Elijah–To know the Elijah in the prophecy, we must know the time frame of his appearance. When would he appear? The Bible says that he would come “before the great and dreadful days of the Lord comes.” To know this day, we must look at the mated verses in the Bible. Prophet Joel also prophesied about this day of the Lord.
Joel 2:31 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
Here in this prophecy the prophet Joel adds some more signs for the day of the Lord. He said that people would see signs in the sun and the moon before the great and dreadful day of the Lord. If we look at the verse of the chapter, we can guess the time frame for this prophecy..
Joel 2:1 Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming. It is close at hand—2 a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness.
The Appearance of the Second Coming Christ
Christ Ahnsahnghong Coming As the Prophet Elijah–Also, Christ taught us this great day of the Lord in his first coming.
Matthew 24:29 “Immediately after the distress of those days “‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ 30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.
According to this teaching of the Christ, we can see the same signs in the sun and moon. Therefore, we can see that the two prophecies are related to each other. And in this prophecy, Christ said that the Son of Man (or Christ himself) would come on the clouds of heaven after these signs. As we have already seen in many other prophecies, “coming on the clouds” means coming as a man in the flesh. Just as the cloud covers the light from the sun, Christ would come as a man hiding his glory in the flesh.
Therefore, this prophecy of Matthew is about the appearance of the Second Coming Christ. Through the signs and related prophecies, we can see the one who would appear before the day of the Lord is the Second Coming Christ.
Second Coming Christ Coming As Elijah
Christ Ahnsahnghong Coming As the Prophet Elijah–In the prophecy of Malachi, God said that He would send prophet Elijah before the day of the Lord. And in the Book of Matthew, Jesus taught that the Second Coming Christ would appear in accordance with the signs of the sun and moon which happens just before the day of the Lord. By comparing these two prophecies, we can realize that the prophet Elijah must be the Second Coming Christ. In other words, the Second Coming Christ would appear as spiritual Elijah before the day of the Lord.
Then what was the purpose of his appearance? According to the Book of Malachi, he comes to bring the reconciliation between God and his people. This implies that there is a separation between God and his people in the last days. Without the appearance of Elijah, there would be no reconciliation and no salvation. And God’s people must know the spiritual Elijah to be reconciled with God in the last days.

Christ Ahnsahnghong Coming As the Prophet Elijah–To fulfill the prophecies of the Bible, Christ Ahnsahnghong appeared as Elijah and brought the reconciliation through the Passover new covenant. Just as Jesus brought the reconciliation through the Passover 2000 years ago, in this last days, Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the Passover again(Romans 5:10, 11:15; 2 Corinthians 5:18; Colossians 1:20). Before His coming to this earth, nobody knew the truth. Therefore, we can say that Christ Ahnsahnghong is the one who appeared as Prophet Elijah in Malachi and Second Coming Christ in Matthew. Christ Ahnsahnghong has come as spiritual Elijah for the salvation of allof us. That is, He has come reveal God the Mother in the flesh! In the age of the Holy Spirit, only those who receive and follow Christ Ahnsahnghong as Elijah will drink living water from God the Mother in the flesh.
